The number one asset to your online business is your opt-in list.
In short, no list – no business.
I suppose you are working very hard on building your list and may even have come across a problem many face when they use a hosted WordPress blog as a way of spreading the word about their business.
The problem? “How do I set up an opt-in form on my hosted blog?”
At the moment, embedding the opt-in form in the blog is not allowed.
However, there is a neat work-around. It is called OptinOutPost.
See OptinOutPost in action.
Notice how, when you close the OptinOutPost, you are brought back to where you were, right here on this blog!
This is one great feature of OptinOutPost. When you call it from within your forum signature, Squidoo lens, Hubpage, or any hosted platform in which you are not permitted to insert a sign-up form, your reader can be returned to the very page they were before you sent them out to opt-in to your list.
It is important to bring your reader back to the blog so they can hear the rest of what you have to say.
And, yes, in this blog post, I’ve got more to say.
Embed Into Embedded
OptinOutPost comes in two versions. What you have seen above is the ‘Basic’ version.
There is another version, the ‘Advanced’ version.
In the advanced version of OptinOutPost, you can integrate your form with a promotional video.
Yes, you have seen Video Squeeze Pages and are probably using them in your business.
But have you seen a web page launch a YouTube video, play the video for a specified amount of time, then get the video to invoke an opt-in form?
This is what I call ‘Video Optinizer Technology’.
No more telling the viewer to “fill in the form on the left” or “scroll down to the bottom of the screen”.
The form takes the place of the video. The viewer has no doubt as to what action is expected of them.
